How to Keep Your Facebook Email Address out of iPhone Contacts Sync

The iPhone's Facebook integration is a great, but things can get confusing when your @Facebook.com email address gets synced to your friend’s contacts when you would rather them contact you through your primary email address. Here’s how to prevent your Facebook email address from being synced.
STEPS

LOGIN TO FACEBOOK AND GO TO YOUR TIMELINE. Click the "Update Info" button below your cover photo.

SCROLL DOWN TO THE CONTACT INFO SECTION AND CLICK THE BUTTON.

CLICK THE AUDIENCE SELECTOR BUTTON. Depending on your current setting, the button will look like a globe, a silhouette of two people, or a padlock. Select "Only Me" from the menu.

CLICK THE BUTTON TO THE RIGHT OF THE AUDIENCE SELECTOR BUTTON AND SELECT HIDDEN FROM TIMELINE FROM THE MENU THAT APPEARS.

CLICK THE SAVE BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PANE TO SAVE YOUR SETTINGS. Now, only your primary email address will be synced when friends use Facebook integration in iOS
TIPS
If only a few people are using your @Facebook.com email address to contact you rather than your primary address, it may be simpler to tell them to update their contact information rather than block the address entirely.
WARNINGS
If you want to use your Facebook email address as your primary method of contact, do not use this technique or it will be hidden to all friends on Facebook.
