STEPS
1
POWER ON AND UNLOCK YOUR IPHONE. 2
ENSURE YOUR IPHONE CURRENTLY HAS THE CAPS LOCK KEY FEATURE ENABLED. Ensure you are back at the Home screen, by pressing the Home button at the bottom of your device. This will retrieve the screen of default apps.
Tap the "Settings" button.
Tap the General selection.
Tap the Keyboard selection.
Look for the setting labelled "Enable Caps Lock".
If it's on, Ok. Press Home.
if not, slide your finger from the left edge of the button on this level from the left to the right.
3
GO TO THE PROGRAM THAT REQUIRES YOU TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS. 4
BEGIN TYPING THE TEXT BEFORE THE CAPS ARE NEEDED. 5
TAP THE SHIFT KEY, QUICKLY, WITH NO EXTRA SECOND IN BETWEEN. If it is successful, you'll see the key light up in a blue-colored color. If this button is just a slight white, you'll type the first letter in caps, while rest is in lowercase.
In iOS 7, the Shift button no longer glows blue, but instead inverts colors (No lock: light arrow and dark background; Caps Lock: dark arrow and light background).
6
TEST OUT THE CAPS LOCK KEY BY TYPING IN YOUR TEXT, IF YOU BELIEVE THE BLUE COLOR ISN\'T RIGHT. But rest assured, that this is, as you'll see. VIDEO
WARNINGS
The worst thing people assume when they tap the shift button, is they don't tap fast enough (or with too much time in-between button presses.) Don't let too much time elapse between pushes. Tap quickly, with little space in between.
