How to Set a Ringtone for an Android Contact: 5 Steps

CLICK ON THE "CONTACTS" BUTTON IN THE SHAPE OF A BOOK WITH PERSON ON IT ON THE HOME SCREEN.

SELECT A CONTACT FROM THE LIST THAT YOU WANT TO SET A RINGTONE FOR.

HIT THE MENU BUTTON ONCE THE INFORMATION FOR THE NEW CONTACT APPEARS.

SELECT "SET RINGTONE" IN THE NEW SCREEN THAT APPEARS.

CLICK ON A RINGTONE THAT YOU WANT AND THEN CLICK "OK" IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT TO SELECT THAT RINGTONE. It's helpful to click on a few different ones to get a feel for which you might like since it plays the tone every time you select.

Set ringtones that remind you of the contact in question. That way you'll be able to tell who it is as soon as that contact rings.
