WARNINGS
When you listen and converse with a caller on your iPhone through the speakerphone, you will be wasting more battery power, therefore causing you the need to charge your phone quicker. Don't let your phone get too low powered when you begin to start the speakerphone, otherwise you may find your phone turning off before the call ends completely.
When you mute a call when your call is on speakerphone, not only will it cut off your contact from hearing you, but it will also cancel the speakerphone option from being used (until you unmute your phone).

ADD PASSES TO YOUR PASSBOOK. Once you've installed the apps you'd like to use, you can begin to add them to your Passbook. Just remember that not every service uses passbook, so if you don't see an option to use Passbook, the merchant may not support it. But if the passes are available, there are three main ways to add them to your phone:
Through a Passbook-enabled app. If you're using your iPhone Passbook app to buy tickets, check in for a flight, buy a gift card, or complete some other transaction, the app will offer for you to add a pass to Passbook. To use your Passbook-friendly app, either find it by tapping Passbook first, or just find the app on your Home screen.
By mail or messaging. You can also send or receive a pass as an attachment or a link through email or text messaging. If you receive a pass through mail or email, just tap or click on the pass and wait for it to be added to Passbook. For example, an email confirming the movie tickets you bought online could include the ticket pass as an attachment.
By browsing the Internet on your phone. You can also find passes on websites while searching the Internet. To add them to Passbook, just tap on them.

USE YOUR PASSES. Once you have your passes on your phone, you need to learn how to use them. Some passes may automatically appear at a certain time and place, like your boarding pass when you arrive at the airport. To display the pass so that it can be scanned, all you need to do is unlock your iPhone.
If you don't see the pass pop up on your lock screen, just select the pass from Passbook.
The pass may not appear on your lock screen because "Show on Lock Screen" is turned off for that pass, or because the merchant of the pass doesn't support this action

ADJUST YOUR PASS SETTINGS. To adjust the settings on your pass, just tap the info icon to see the settings and additional information about that pass. The info screen can allow you to remove the pass by tapping the trash icon, setting the pass to be shown or not shown on your lock screen, and also allow the pass to have automatic updates. To turn on the lock screen or automatic update setting, just slide the setting to "on."
The info screen also provides more information about the pass, such as the contact information for the pass provider, which can come in handy if the pass isn't working for some reason.

BBM untuk Android dan iPhone Ditarik, Ada Apa?

BBM untuk iPhone sempat hadir di Apple App Store. Namun, hingga Minggu (22/9/2013) pagi, belum ada tanda-tanda kemunculan aplikasi BBM di Google Play Store.

Bukannya mengumumkan ketersediaan BBM di Android, BlackBerry justru menunda kehadiran BBM untuk Android dan menarik kembali aplikasi untuk iPhone. Kenapa?

Dalam sebuah publikasi di blog resmi BlackBerry, Minggu (22/9/2013), perusahaan mengungkap alasan tertundanya aplikasi BBM di Android. Menurut BlackBerry, akar permasalahannya berasal dari file instalasi aplikasi BBM tak resmi.

"Akibatnya, versi yang belum pernah dirilis ini menyebabkan masalah, dan kami sedang mencoba menyelesaikan masalah ini sepanjang hari," tulis Luke Reimer, Manajer Bisnis Media Sosial BlackBerry.

Beberapa jam sebelum BBM meluncur di Android dan iPhone, file instalasi BBM dengan format .apk (format aplikasi untuk Android) memang beredar di internet. Menurut Reimer, jumlah pengguna BBM bertambah menjadi 1,1 juta orang dalam waktu delapan jam. Namun, banyaknya pemakaian aplikasi BBM tak resmi menyebabkan masalah teknis bagi BlackBerry.

Tim teknis BlackBerry mengaku tetap berusaha membawa BBM di perangkat Android dan iPhone. Untuk sementara, perusahaan harus menarik kembali aplikasi BBM yang telanjur beredar, termasuk dari toko aplikasi online Apple App Store.

Kendati demikian, Reimer mengatakan, pelanggan yang sudah mengunduh BBM di iPhone tetap bisa menggunakan BBM. Aplikasi BBM untuk iPhone sempat tersedia di Apple App Store pada Sabtu (21/9/2013) sejak pukul 22.00 WIB.

Sementara itu, aplikasi BBM di Android yang masih dalam tahap uji coba atau tidak resmi akan dinonaktifkan. Pengguna Android yang telanjur mengunduh aplikasi tersebut harus mengunjungi situs web www.bbm.com untuk mendaftar dan update aplikasi BBM resmi untuk Android.

BlackBerry tidak mengungkap kapan perusahaan akan kembali merilis aplikasi BBM resmi untuk Android dan iPhone.

Reimer menegaskan, masalah yang ditimbulkan dari aplikasi BBM di Android dan iPhone ini tidak akan berdampak pada layanan BBM untuk pengguna ponsel BlackBerry.

How to Sync Google Calendar with Your iPhone: 8 Steps

3 Ways to Take Photos and Video With the iPhone 4

TAP THE “CAMERA” ICON. Here is what you'll see: In the upper left corner is the LED flash switch; set it either off, on, or auto. Next is the HDR switch. HD recording takes up a lot of memory, so by default it is set to off. Tap the switch to turn it on. To the far right is the camera switch. Tap this to display either the front or main camera on the screen.

The "New" Tab shows articles that have just been introduced to the app store. They are brand new, and consist of many different genres.
The "What's Hot" tab shows some of the most popular articles on the app store. They have received the best reviews and the most downloads.
The "Genius" tab. If you activate Genius, you may go to the Genius tab. There, it will show you apps you may like, based on what apps you already have.



Click the "Categories" button. This will show you many apps by their genre. If you are looking for a game, click the "Games" button. However, if you are looking for news about sports, click the "Sports" button. This method is fairly simple.



Click the "Top 25" button. This will show you the most popular apps of that week. The apps in the Top 25 position will vary as new apps are downloaded and deleted. Like the "Featured" function, the "Top 25" system has three sub-tabs.
The "Top Paid" tab. This will show you the most popular apps, however, these games cost money to buy. If you do not mind spending money, you can look in this tab to find paid apps.
The "Top Free" tab. This will show you the most popular apps that are free to download and use. If you are on a budget, it may be wise to search here.
The "Top Grossing" tab. This shows apps that have made the most money, either from the purchase, or by in-app purchases. Some are free, but have in-app purchases. These apps are usually more expensive to use.



Click the "Search" button at the bottom of the screen. This will let you search for the title of your app. Click the bar at the top of the screen, then type in the kind of app you'd like to find, then click enter. This will narrow done choices on what you searched for.

ONCE YOU HAVE FOUND THE APP YOU WOULD LIKE TO BUY, CLICK ON THE APP FROM THE LIST. Read the description about the app, and decide if you would like it. This description will tell you about the app, and you can decide if you'd like to buy it.

CHECK THE QUALITY OF THE APP. This isn't exactly required, but it's extremely important to making a correct decision, especially one that's on the costly side. To check it up, look at the description and look to see if it seems appealing to you. Check out the reviews by scrolling the the bottom of the page and clicking "User Reviews".
Watch out for people in the user review section that spam and/or advertise their app or website. Remember, spamming isn't only on forums!

AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN, THERE IS A LITTLE BUTTON. It will either say "FREE" or a price. If it says "FREE", it means the app is free to download. However, if it shows a price, (i.e. $1.99) then that is the price it costs to buy the app. If you would like the app, double tap this box.

ONCE THIS IS DONE, YOU MAY USE THE APP FOR WHATEVER PURPOSE THE INTENDED DOWNLOADING OF IT WAS.

TIPS
Once you download these, you can update them by going to the app store and pressing "Updates" to check for any available updates for your app(s).
If you delete an app you paid for accidentally, don't worry; you can re-download the app for free.
To delete an app, select and hold the app you wish to delete. All the apps will starts to jiggle in a dance-like order. Click the X button on the app you want to delete. A window will pop up, asking for confirmation of the deletion. Select yes and it will be gone in no time.
For the "Top 25" feature, at the bottom it will have a button saying "Twenty Five More..." If you click this, it will show you twenty-five more apps.
Downloading apps is quicker over WiFi than cellular.
WARNINGS
Do not spend too much money buying apps, or you will go bankrupt.
When buying apps, ask the card owners permission first.
