How to Delete a Twitter Account from the Twitter for iPhone App

Deleting a Twitter Account from the Twitter for iPhone app won't delete or deactivate the account. However, it will remove the account from your iPhone. If that's what you want to do, then just follow these easy steps.
STEPS

SETUP YOUR DEVICE SO THAT YOU ARE READY TO DELETE THE ACCOUNT FROM THE APP.
Turn on your iPod touch / iPhone.
Unlock your device.
Type in your pin, if there is one set for your device.
Move to an area that has Wi-Fi access. Allow your device to connect to a suitable network.

OPEN THE TWITTER APP ON YOUR DEVICE.

TAP THE "ME" BUTTON FROM THE BLACK BAR AT THE BOTTOM OF THE APP.

DOUBLE-CHECK THAT YOU DELETED THE ACCOUNT. Tap the Twitter app again, and check to see that the account you deleted is no longer listed under the Twitter icon.

SCROLL THE APP TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN. You'll see a button labelled "Switch accounts". With the Twitter for iPhone app, Twitter has devised a feature, where the user can't delete an account from the app, unless another one has been successfully set up.

SET UP ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN THE IPHONE APP.
Tap the "+" key at the top right of the screen.
Begin typing the new account's username.
Tap the "Next" button, within the onscreen keyboard.
Type the password you used.
Tap the "Save" button to setup a new authorized account.

TAP THE "" BUTTON FROM THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER OF THE APP.

SWIPE TO THE LEFT TO UNVEIL A "DELETE" BUTTON TO REMOVE THE UNNEEDED ACCOUNT FROM THE DEVICE.

TAP THE "DELETE" BUTTON.
