STEPS
1
CALL THE CONTACT YOU\'D LIKE TO CONVERSE WITH, OR ACCEPT THE CALL FROM THE CONTACT THAT DECIDED TO CONVERSE WITH YOU THE REVERSE DIRECTION. 2
REMOVE THE PHONE AWAY FROM YOUR EAR BUT DON\'T DISCONNECT THE CALL. 3
TURN THE PHONE OVER, SO YOU CAN PROPERLY SEE THE PHONE\'S DISPLAY. 4
LOCATE THE "SPEAKER" BUTTON ON THE PHONE. 5
PRESS THE "SPEAKER" BUTTON ON THE PHONE ONCE TO ACCESS THE SPEAKERPHONE. 6
LOCATE AND ADJUST THE SPEAKERPHONE VOLUME CONTROLS. The same down and up volume controls you use for all the other stuff on your phone, are also used to manage sound levels for the speakerphone. 7
PRESS THE "SPEAKER" BUTTON AGAIN, TO TURN OFF THE SPEAKERPHONE AND RETURN TO THE CALL BY LISTENING THROUGH THE EARPIECE. TIPS
You can also still place the phone call on Hold, while using the Speakerphone, along with anything else you were able to do with the phone when it was attached to your ear.
You can still access the contacts list while your phone call is in progress over the Speakerphone function. Use the Home button and multitask to get yourself to the Contacts app, where you can manage your contacts.
WARNINGS
When you listen and converse with a caller on your iPhone through the speakerphone, you will be wasting more battery power, therefore causing you the need to charge your phone quicker. Don't let your phone get too low powered when you begin to start the speakerphone, otherwise you may find your phone turning off before the call ends completely.
When you mute a call when your call is on speakerphone, not only will it cut off your contact from hearing you, but it will also cancel the speakerphone option from being used (until you unmute your phone).
