If your iPhone has gone mute, it's simple to fix.
STEPS

LOOK AT THE SIDE OF THE PHONE. There is a slider button. Slide it up so there is NOT an orange dot.

IF THIS DOES NOT WORK, HIT THE VOLUME BUTTON (JUST BELOW IT) ALL THE WAY UP TO CHECK.

TRY RESTARTING THE IPHONE.

IF NONE OF THESE WORK, TAKE YOUR PHONE TO THE APPLE STORE. It may have defunct speakers.
